Donations
Sharing
and Caring Hands is run by volunteers with few paid staff.
Mary Jo receives no salary. The center relies solely on
donations of time, goods, services and money from the community
it serves. We do not accept Federal, State or United Way
monies, but rely entirely on donations.
We
accept donations of cash, food, clothing, house wares, sheets,
towels and of course, your time. We always have a need for
personal hygiene items. We gladly accept vehicles, which
we actually give to those in need. Sorry, we cannot accept
furniture.
Because
of our ongoing needs we especially appreciate monthly donations
in any amount and are thankful to those who include this
ministry in their wills, estates and planned giving. Please
contact us on how this may be done.
Sharing
and Caring Hands is a certified 501(c)(3) charitable organization
– All donations are tax deductible.

Our annual audit information is available for review and
will be furnished upon request. We are proud to indicate
that nearly all of the donations we receive go directly
to the poor. Since our inception we have had management
and fundraising expenses of less than 6% of our total in
come.. This high level of financial responsibility and accountability
is almost unheard of in the non-profit sector. It is only
possible because of the generosity of our community and
the untiring efforts of our volunteers. Thank You.

like
to
think
of Sharing
& Caring Hands as your personal outreach to the poor and
the homeless. Again this year, God has blessed this outreach
by providing
the support needed to meet the ever-increasing needs. May God
bless you all.
Thank you for your support. During the current tough economic
times, the number of people and their needs increase, please continue
your generous giving to meet the needs of the children, the poor
and the homeless.
